Heavy Rain Risk Area
The monsoon trough lies across the upper North and upper Laos into the low-pressure cell over upper Vietnam while the rather strong southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf with isolated heavy to very heavy rains in the upper North, the upper Northeast and the East. The rather strong winds and waves in the upper Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf are likely 2-3 meters high and above 3 meters high in thundershowers.
People in the areas should beware of heavy to very heavy rains and accumulation that may cause flash floods, overflows and landslides especially along the waterways near foothills and lowlands.
All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers.
